Family Reunion President
Arnold Samuel
Arnold “Sonny” Samuel is the youngest child of Hugh and Mattie Samuel. He has always had a heartfelt desire to see the continual togetherness of the Samuel-Jones family. For this reason, he has been a member of the Samuel Family Reunion Committee for the past 30 years and currently holds the office of its president. This makes sense as he is a people person.
Sonny realized that there was a gap in family connections and is, therefore, the brainchild of this website. He hopes this site will allow our family to reach out, complete our website contact form, and establish connections.
He is also looking to pass the presidential torch to the next generation. So, if you have a similar drive or want to chat, he would love for you to reach out to him.

Ivie Gonsalves (A.K.A. Peanut) is the grand daughter of Hugh Samuel and Mattie Lee Jones (Sweetmama) and is one of the passionate Samuel-Jones family historians. In addition to co-managing this sites galleries, she is on the Family Reunion Committee and manages the Samuel-Jones family tree on Ancestry.com.
